Overview

Why not experience an Indian camel safari tour, where you can camp in the desert under a canopy of stars? Ride camels, explore the surrounding villages, ancient ruins of historic towns, and visit oases with temples, all while immersing yourself in the life of the desert communities. Camel safari tours are based in Jaisalmer, the largest city in the Rajasthan state of India. Jaisalmer is located within the Thar Desert and was once an oasis city on the east-west trade routes connecting India and Central Asia. It’s renowned for Jaisalmer Fort and is known as the “Camel City” due to its role as a major camel breeding hub. Furthermore, about 300 km west of Jaipur, in the Rajasthan state, you’ll find Jodhpur, known as the “Blue City” due to its buildings being painted blue. Jodhpur is home to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Mehrangarh Fort. Embark on this exotic camel safari tour and experience both the desert adventure and UNESCO heritage sites.
