Overview
Have you ever considered experiencing an Indian camel safari tour where you can spend a night in a desert tent while gazing at a sky full of stars? You can ride camels, visit nearby villages, explore ancient ruins, oases with temples, and even get a glimpse of the lives of the desert-dwelling people. This camel safari tour is based in Jaisalmer, the largest city in the Rajasthan state of India. Jaisalmer is situated in the heart of the Thar Desert and has a rich history as a former oasis city on the East-West trade route connecting India and Central Asia. It’s renowned for its Jaisalmer Fort and as a hub for camel breeding. Moreover, in Rajasthan, about 300 km west of Jaipur, you’ll find Jodhpur, known as the ‘Blue City’ due to its uniformly blue-colored buildings, and it’s home to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Mehrangarh Fort. Immerse yourself in the exotic allure of the camel safari tour and explore these UNESCO World Heritage sites.
